Matt Gunn
Born and raised in small town Ontario, Matt Gunn combines a mix of soul, motown, and reggae to prove to the world there is more to the country than just honky tonks and cowboy boots. Influenced by Van Morrison, Marvin Gaye, and The Slackers, Matt creates a blend of sounds to soothe even the pickiest of ear drums.

Two for the Show
Many years in the making, Two For The Show have mastered the live performance. With a comfortable chemistry and laid-back attitude, they have pleased crowds all across Canada with their mix of Classic Rock, 80’s, Dance Music, Reggae and Country (old + new). The band’s motto is: “Keep it fun, make em’ laugh, sing and dance.”

40 Nickels
For the past decade, 40 Nickels has delighted audiences at bars and pubs across the GTA with their fun and lighthearted shows. Typical gigs include a mix of songs and genres, from the 70s to current hits – with the odd mashup or unexpected rendition of a tune tossed in to keep the crowd on their toes.

Rory Taillon
Ottawa-based singer/songwriter Rory Taillon is a road warrior, touring across the country and back again. He has the soul of the East coast but the sound of the West in his songs. His music is the work of a one-man Wintersleep, a one-man Tea Party, a one-man Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, with a voice to match the majesty of the Rockies. Because Rory Taillon is not just an entertainer he is a performer. It’s just that simple, when Rory Taillon sings everything stops and when it starts again it’s all changed. It’s just that simple, like folk.

The Dudes of York
The Dudes of York is a Toronto Based cover band. Their repertoire spans music from the 60's through to today. If you like Rock, Pop and Folk music, you will surely enjoy this band's sound and harmonies.

Albert Carraro with Mars Giammarco
Toronto based musician, Albert Carraro, is one of the more sought after, hardest working performers in the city. His work has included performances with Canadian Idol, the Grey Cup, and numerous tribute shows ranging from Pearl Jam to the Hip and Shania Twain. He has also won numerous songwriting awards and is a true student of the instrument. His talents range from the stage to the studio, where his debut album, "The Way I Feel", was well received on radio and TV. He is joined at Trailhead Place by fellow musician Mars Giammarco.

Franks and Beans
(3-5pm)
What do you get when you cross funk-soul covers with pop-songs through the ages?The Franks and Beans. This local Toronto band is sure to feed your hunger for live music. While none of the members are named Frank, they bring the musical fruit to have you dancing and singing along. No room for dessert after a show like this.

Brooklyn Doran
Brooklyn Doran (she/her) is a queer singer-songwriter originally from the heart of Northwestern Ontario, who has been a staple of the Toronto folk scene for over ten years. Doran’s unique sound weaves song and storytelling; the polarity between her music and personality create a harmonious blend of wit and humour contrasted by vulnerable lyricism and haunting melody.

Syd Perry
Roots Reggae singer-songwriter, based in Canada & Jamaica, Syd Perry is a unique artist with a sound described as Roots Blues Reggae. His primary instruments are his voice, 12-string guitar and the harmonica. He has toured across Canada and most of Jamaica.

Old Man Flanagan’s Ghost
(2:30 to 4:30 pm)
Best described as ‘engaging Celtic folk/rock’, OMFG’s renditions of classic Celtic and east coast covers, traditional fiddle tunes, and a variety of original tunes bring a feeling of being welcomed into your neighbour’s home for a Kitchen Party. They invite the audience to participate in a fun, energetic stage show that can be enjoyed by all.
Imagine the smell of the sea, cold pints of beer, old shipwrecks, stories of love and loss, and boisterous friends sharing a laugh and a song. THAT is the essence of Old Man Flanagan’s Ghost.

Jenn Kee
(3 to 5 pm)
Hearing Jenn Kee sing is an experience that is simply not to be missed. Her show is a mixture of original music and artistically and authentically interpreted cover songs from artists ranging from Jessie J to Johnny Cash; from Lorde to Leonard Cohen. Her powerful and soaring vocals leave audiences breathless and begging for more.

Julien Kelland
(5 to 7 pm)
At 22 years old, Julien Kelland already has 2 EP’s under her belt, over 1 million YouTube views, and 2 viral videos. Most recently, her single “Death of Me” has found tremendous success on Spotify playlists, as well as 4 TV placements. This doesn’t come as a surprise considering this Toronto-based artist started singing as soon as she could talk. Pulling influences from Banks, Bishop Briggs, Maggie Rogers, & Adele, Julien is creating her own version of “Dark Pop”; almost cinematic in production. Big choruses filled with atmospheric & brass synth, minimalistic percussion combined with real instruments like guitar and piano, layered above are her signature, pure vocals with haunting beautiful melodies.
